Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your account in the Al Markazul Sabriya app by Al Markaz-ul Sabriya International, and what happens to your data.
Option 1: In the app (fastest)
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Under Security, tap Delete account.
- Enter your password, confirm, and tap Delete my account.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on all devices.
Option 2: By email (without the app)
Send an email to support@almarkazulsabriyainternational.org with the subject "Delete my account".
- Send it from the email address of your account, so we can confirm the request is yours.
- If you cannot use that address, tell us the account's email address and we will contact you there to confirm.
We delete the account within 7 days of confirming the request and reply to let you know.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address and mobile number
- Your password and all sign-ins on every device
- Verification and password-reset codes
- Events you marked as "Interested"
What is kept
- Security logs: technical records (such as the time a request was made) are kept for a limited period for security; they no longer link to your account.
- Backups: copies in routine backups are removed as those backups expire.
- On your phone: reading progress and settings saved on your phone stay there until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. You can still use the app as a guest, or register again later with the same email address.
